One week before “Salaar” is released, on December 16, advance booking for the film will begin. On its first day of pre-sale, Prabhas’s movie sold over 31,000 tickets and brought in over Rs 60 lakh. As per the SACNILC report, “Salar” has amassed Rs 66.81 crore in revenue after selling 31,286 tickets through advance booking on the first day.

As per the report, the movie made ₹80.30 lakh in Telugu after 35215 tickets were sold for 174 showings. In Malayalam, the movie grossed ₹21.03 lakh after 13988 tickets were sold for 552 showings.
